Flashlights, radios, and energy bars make great stocking stuffers – why not show family and friends how much you care about them this season by giving emergency preparedness supplies as holiday gifts?
On Dec. 10, the City of Santa Monica’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will host the second One Stop Prep Shop for emergency preparedness at the Santa Monica Main Public Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
This unique event provides an opportunity for those who live, work, and play in Santa Monica to get prepared for emergencies in a fast and convenient way.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., local vendors, Fisher Lumber, REI, the Emergency Café, SOS Survival Products, and the American Red Cross of Santa Monica will be on hand selling emergency preparedness supplies in the Main Library courtyard.
The City of Santa Monica wants to make it as easy as possible for people to be prepared for emergencies. OEM encourages everyone to have seven days’ worth of supplies at home, at work, and in our cars.
Vendors will be selling emergency preparedness kits and supplies for families, businesses, children, and pets.
The Santa Monica Main Public Library is located at 601 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica.
