Santa Monica’s Main Street Tree Lighting And Celebration On Saturday Evening:

The Main Street Tree Lighting will take place this Saturday

Santa Monica’s historic Main Street transforms into a holiday wonderland, with sights and sounds that make the season bright with the tree lighting ceremony and celebration this Saturday, Dec. 3.

The holiday season starts on the California Heritage Museum lawn at 2612 Main for a traditional tree lighting, free photos with Santa, and songs of the season with the Santa Monica High School choir from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

ollow Santa as he leads a candlelight walk to the Edgemar courtyard where a whole different kind of tree awaits: the iconic shopping cart tree.

Once there, revelers will be entertained by the Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers.

Afterwards meander down Main Street, view the decorations, and enjoy holiday parties at more than 30 participating businesses.
