Sierra Canyon Hangs On For One-Point Win Over Crossroads: Roadrunners’ Shot For Win Misses

The play worked. The shot was open. It just didn’t fall.

Justin Blair’s pull-up jumper just beyond the elbow missed to the left of the rim as time expired and Crossroads fell to Sierra Canyon 70-69 on Tuesday.

The Trailblazers’ Jahmel Taylor led the team with 16 points, while Jamani Spencer added 12 points and Robbie Feinberg had 11 points.

In the losing effort, Roadrunner Myles Stephens led all scorers with 22 points. Leo Abbe-Schnieder added 11 points and Tommy Nowels finished with nine.
