Samohi Pulls Away Late to Win League Opener: VIDEO: Lady Vikings Take Out Inglewood

Samohi's Paige Onouye looks for an open teammate in the Vikings' 61-51 win over Inglewood on Wednesday.

Coming off a tough seven-point loss to Saugus on Friday night, the Lady Vikings bounced back with a 61-51 win against the Inglewood Sentinels.

Imani Holloway was a force, blocking shots, grabbing rebounds and scoring 18 points, usually after Aneise Palmore got her the ball in transition. Palmore added 14 points and Christina Rimicci had 12 points.

Inglewood’s Tiara Chisolm scored 17 points in the loss, followed up with Delesia Scurrey’s 12 points and Zhane Carter’s 11 points.

Samohi will play at Culver City tonight (Friday).
