‘OVO’ Characters Celebrate Leap Year At Santa Monica Pier:

The special "Bug Dance" was held on the Pier to celebrate February 29.

Santa Monica Pier was “buzzing” with excitement earlier today as Cirque du Soleil presented a special Bug Dance.

From the streets of Santa Monica to the Grand Chapiteau, some of OVO’s insects twisted ‘n crawled with pier-goers at this dance gathering.

This afternoon also featured free merry-go-round rides, 2-for-1 pier deals, and the Radio Disney road crew.

The first 100 people who showed that February 29th was their birthday with a valid id received two complimentary tickets to see “OVO” at the Santa Monica Pier.
