Placing third in the Alpha League leaves the Crossroads Roadrunners with a tall order in the CIF soccer tournament.
The ‘Roads will play today at3 p.m. at home in the Div. 6 wild card round against Yeshiva, as released on Monday by the CIF.
Meanwhile, the Samohi boys’ soccer team will host a wild card team in Div. 4. The winner of today’s game between Bonita and Lawndale will come to the city on Thursday.
The Samohi girls, though, will face Orange Coast League champion Laguna Beach on the road for their first round. The pitch will go at 3 p.m. on Friday.
And the New Roads Jaguars boys’ soccer teams will also be on the road in the first round. With a third place finish in the Coastal League, they will start the CIF against Delphic League champion Paraclete on Thursday.
