Santa Monica Crime Awareness Event Tonight With Mayor, Police Chief:

A “Crime Awareness Event” will be held from 7-9 p.m. today, Oct. 17 at the Brentwood Country Club, 590 South Burlingame Avenue.

Santa Monica Mayor Richard Bloom and Santa Monica Chief of Police Jacqueline Seabrooks will speak on the topic of crime awareness.

A wine tasting by sommelier Timothy Robertson with wines from Magnavino Cellars in Oxnard will follow.

The event is free to attend and is open to the public.
