Santa Monica Mid-Season High School Basketball And Soccer Report: Basketball and Soccer Game Schedules For Week of Jan 23-Jan 31

The basketball and soccer teams in Santa Monica are looking to win their final league games of the season in order to secure a playoff spot and advance in CIF with this next week deciding the fate of many of the Westside teams.

Santa Monica basketball teams reported include teams that still have a chance of going into the CIF playoffs.

Samohi Boys Basketball is 4-0 in the Ocean League and 15-4 overall.

The Vikings are on a five game winning streak with their latest wins away against Morningside 67-50 Friday and away against Hawthorne 67-48 Wednesday.

Next games are away against Compton Saturday, Jan. 26 at 3:30 p.m. and at home against Inglewood Monday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. before playing a rematch away against Culver City Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Crossroads Boys Basketball is 3-2 in the Delphic League and 9-8 overall.

Crossroads lost 60-53 away to Marshall Friday night.

Next game for the Roadrunners is away against Calvary Chapel Monday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.

Crossroads Girls Basketball is 5-0 in the Delphic League and 14-3 overall.

Crossroads won at home against Marshall 52-27 Friday, Jan. 18.

Next games for the Roadrunners are away against Pacific Hills Saturday, Jan. 26 at 4:30 p.m. and away against Calvary Chapel Sunday, Jan. 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Next home game for the Roadrunners is against Viewpoint Thursday, Jan. 31 at 4:00 p.m.

St. Monica Boys Basketball is 1-3 in the El Camino Real League and 9-11 overall.

St. Monica won away against Verbum Dei 50-45 Monday, Jan. 21.

Next game for the Mariners is away against St. Paul Friday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.

St. Monica Girls Basketball is 3-1 in the El Camino Real League and 17-5 overall.

St. Monica lost 53-52 away against Monroe Saturday, Jan. 19.

Next games for the Mariners are home against St. Joseph Thursday at 7 p.m. and away against Marymount Saturday, Jan. 26 and at home against St. Paul Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.

Pacifica Christian Girls Soccer is 4-0 and is first place in the Heritage League with a 8-0 overall record.

Pacifica Christian shut out Lennox Academy 4-0 at home Friday, Jan. 18.

The Seawolves won away against Glendale Adventist Academy Tuesday by a score of 12-0. The score was 12-0. Next game for the Seawolves is against New Community Jewish Thursday, Jan. 24 at 3:30 p.m.

Crossroads Girls Soccer is 4-0 in the Delphic League and 10-2-1 overall.

Next game for the Roadrunners is away against Calvary Chapel Friday, Jan. 25 at 3:15 p.m.

Crossroads Boys Soccer is 5-1-1 in the Delphic League and 11-2-2 overall.

Crossroads lost 2-1 away against Marshall Friday, Jan. 18.

Next game for the Roadrunners is a rematch at home against Windward Monday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.

The Roadrunners tied the Wildcats 1-1 away Monday, Jan. 14.

Samohi Girls Soccer is 3-2 in the Ocean League and 5-6-2 overall.

The Vikings won 4-0 at home against Morningside Friday, Jan. 18.

The Vikings won at home against Hawthorne Wednesday 10-0.

Next game for the Vikings is at home against Inglewood, Friday at 3 p.m.

Samohi lost to Morningside 3-0 Friday, Jan. 18.

Vikings game at home against Hawthorne Wednesday has yet to be reported.

Next game for the Vikings is at home against Inglewood Friday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. before playing away against rival Culver City Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.

St. Monica Boys Soccer is 4-1 in the Camino Real League and 7-5-1 overall.

St. Monica won away 2-0 against Cantwell-Sacred Heart Friday but lost 4-0 away to Serra Wednesday.

The Mariners next home game is at the Airport Park against St. Paul Friday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. before playing away against St. Anthony Monday, Jan. 28 at 4:30 p.m. and away against St. Bernard Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 3:30 p.m.

St. Monica Girls Soccer is on a four game win streak going 3-0 in the Camino Real League and 13-3-1 overall.

The Mariners won against Serra 4-0 Tuesday afternoon.

Next game for the Lady Mariners is at home against Cantwell-Sacred Heart Thursday Jan. 31 at 5 p.m.
