Art For Clare Fundraiser Returns Sunday To Bergamot Station:

This Sunday will see the return of the annual ART for CLARE fundraiser, which will offer patrons the chance to purchase art from highly regarded local artists, sample some of LA’s best cuisine, and bid on silent auction items that range from luxury vacations to spa packages.

Now in its seventh year, the event will be held at Bergamot Station, 2525 Michigan Avenue in Santa Monica.

Doors open and silent auctions begin at 1 pm, the art auction closes at 3 pm, and the outdoor silent auction closes at 3:30 pm.

Co-chaired by actress and best-selling author Meredith Baxter and Linde Caughey, the event will bring together more than 70 prominent local artists.

Baxter said she was proud to be a co-chair and contributing artist for ART for CLARE.

“This year’s event boasts a fantastic collection of art from over 70 prominent and emerging local artists, all of whom have come together to show support for the CLARE Foundation,” Baxter said. “This is a rare opportunity for collectors of all levels to buy art they love in support of an important cause.”

Some of LA’s best eateries, including Kate Mantilini, Lemonade, and El Cholo, will also be on-hand to offer patrons tastes of their gourmet fare.

The day promises great art, delicious food, and a festive atmosphere – all for a worthy cause.

CLARE Foundation Executive Director Nicholas Vrataric said the event was a great chance for the community to learn about CLARE and support its work of saving lives through recovery.

“Eighty-four cents of every dollar raised at this event goes directly to CLARE’s 10 highly effective residential, outpatient, and prevention programs, which serve more than 3,000 adults and nearly 1,000 young people each year,” Vrataric said.

General admission tickets to Sunday’s fundraiser are $25 in advance; $30 at the door.
