Big Blue Bus To Operate Sunday Schedule On July 4:

Big Blue Bus is reminding everyone that all of its buses will be operating on a Sunday schedule on Independence Day this Thursday, July 4.

Regular service resumes on all routes Friday, July 5.

Here are a few things to keep in mind that day:

— Routes that do not operate on Sundays will not operate on Thursday, July 4.

— Route 4 will operate via the weekend routing around the VA Hospital.

— UCLA Riders: Hilgard Terminal will be closed, use Ackerman Terminal instead.

— Blue: The Transit Store and Customer Service will be closed.

Travel Tip: The Santa Monica 4th of July Parade will be taking place on Main St. in Downtown Santa Monica. Detours for Routes 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, and 9 will be in effect from approximately 6 am to 3 pm. Allow extra time for your bus trips.
