Jeanie Madsen Gallery at 1431 Ocean Avenue this weekend opens a new exhibit titled “I Love Santa Monica.”
A red carpet charity event will be held Saturday at 7 pm to celebrate the opening of the exhibition, which will run through Sept. 17.
The gallery has teamed up with the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Monica Jaycees, Downtown Santa Monica, and Buy Local Santa Monica for this special community affair to “celebrate Santa Monica’s beauty, culture, and lifestyle.”
“I Love Santa Monica” features artists Jennifer Verge, Mark Andrew Allen, Robyn Horton, Scott Horton, Fabian Lewkowicz, Ken Matthews, Leslie Miranda, Vincent Walker, and more.
Saturday’s event will feature live music, a DJ, and catering from Tasting Spoons, Wine Bar, AMAzon Coconut Water, Jarritos sodas, and more.
Tickets are $10 in advance online or $15 at the door. Proceeds benefit A New Beautiful charity, which instills confidence and self worth in teenagers.
Jeanie Madsen Gallery also includes a “wearable art” gallery, which features Jeanie Madsen Designs, as well as other local one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessory designers Jennifer Verge, Fahmina and Carolyn.
