Legendary composer/conductor John Williams returns to the Hollywood Bowl this weekend to lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a spectacular program of music from the silver screen.
There will be two performances, at 8 pm both Friday and Saturday night.
This year, Williams is joined by legendary actress Julie Andrews for a tribute to the legacy of director Blake Edwards and composer Henry Mancini.
Monica Mancini joins the program to perform The Days of Wine and Roses.
The program will feature music from Williams’ popular scores, including: “Flight to Neverland” from Hook, selections from Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark, “With Malice Toward None” from Lincoln, and crowd-pleasing selections from Star Wars.
The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N Highland Avenue, Los Angeles.
