Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica Announces Partnership With SMMoA:

Le Meridian Delfina Santa Monica has announced its partnership with the Santa Monica Museum of Art, as part of the Le Méridien brand’s signature UNLOCK ART™ cultural program.

The collaboration will offer guests of both establishments exclusive access and luxury amenities while unlocking the essence of the Santa Monica travel destination.

Developed by Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, UNLOCK ART™ is designed to provide guests with access to contemporary cultural centers around the world.

The partnership creates a distinct sense of place and elevates the travel experience by encouraging guests to explore the contemporary and sometimes lesser-known elements of a destination.

Upon check-in at the Santa Monica luxury Hotel, guests will receive an artist-designed key card that will serve as pieces of artwork themselves.

The keycard, intended to become a collector’s item, will transform into a cultural access pass, allowing complimentary access to

the Santa Monica Museum of Art, a discount to GRACIE — the museum’s retail store — and access to private Sa nta Monica events and exhibition launches.

“We look forward to offering Le Méridien’s creative travelers a window into the cultural lifeblood of Santa Monica,” said Kara Altice-Montes, Regional Vice President & Area General Manager, Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica. “Santa Monica Museum of Art is a dynamic cultural destination and the perfect partner for our Unlock Art program.”

“Los Angeles is rich with exhibition opportunities. We are delighted that the Le Meridian Delfina Santa Monica has selected the Santa Monica Museum of Art as their cultural partner for the UNLOCK ART program. We will welcome their hotel guests to our museum and provide them with a wide range of unique contemporary art perspectives,” said Elsa Longhauser, executive director of the Santa Monica Museum of Art.

The Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica is located at 530 Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica. For additional information, visit www.lemeridiendelfina.com.

SMMoA is located at the Bergamot Station, Building G1, 2525 Michigan Avenue, Santa Monica.
