Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus is advising its bus users to allow extra time for trips over Thanksgiving this week, especially on Wednesday as there will be extra holiday traffic on the roads.
Thanksgiving Day – Nov. 29
Routes 1, 2, 3, 8, and 12: UCLA’s Hilgard Terminal will be closed; all trips will use UCLA’s Charles E. Young/P2 Transit Hub instead.
All other BBB routes: Operate on a regular Sunday schedule.
The Transit Store and Customer Service: Closed.
Friday After Thanksgiving Nov. 29
Route 6: Will not be in service.

Note the Transit Store and Customer Service will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Dec. 2.
Route 10: Downtown Los Angeles Detour Nov. 28
Due to the Los Angeles Turkey Trot event in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 28, the Rapid 10 will be on detour from 6 am until approximately 12 pm. Visit service alerts for a list of closed and alternate stops.
