President Barack Obama will arrive in Los Angeles Monday afternoon where he will speak at two events on the Westside.
The website politicalpartytime.org says Obama will appear at fundraisers at the Beverly Hills-area homes of former basketball player Magic Johnson and Saban Capital Group Chairman Haim Saban for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Democratic Senate Campaign Committee.
The fundraiser at Johnson’s home will also include house majority leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA-8) and Senate majority leader Sen. Harry Reid (D, NV). This event is costing attendees between $2,500 to $15,000.
The fundraiser at Saban’s home is costing $16,200 per person/$32,400 per couple.
The website says Obama is then scheduled to conduct a fundraiser Tuesday for the Democratic National Committee at the Hancock Park home of Marta Kauffman, a co-creator of the hit NBC comedy “Friends.” The cost per person for this event is listed as $32,400, according to the website.
