Briggs & Riley Arrives At Santa Monica Place:

Everyone has that one friend he or she turns to when a trusted opinion is needed to assist with something. It could be grand and abstract like love, or simple and concrete like luggage. These friends are essential – and Briggs & Riley is just that friend.

Briggs & Riley Travelware this week opened a new partner store with Kensington Luggage at Santa Monica Place.

According to Celia Visconti, Global Vice President of Marketing, Briggs & Riley serves an affluent market who seeks the best in bags, luggage, and customer service.

Briggs & Riley prides itself on listening to customers’ needs, and providing helpful and realistic solutions – and this coming weekend Briggs & Riley continues is opening celebrations.

The festivities began Thursday with light refreshments from 2-9 pm, and celebratory food, beverage, and ribbon cutting from 5-7 pm. Shoppers will be treated with a gift with any purchase made today through this Sunday, Aug. 17.

The new store will feature the brand’s assortment of luggage and business cases. “While in the stylish surroundings with all the benefits of Santa Monica Place, a new trusted spot has emerged for shoppers who travel and who benefit from having the latest in innovative features and functionality that make travel and every day easier – whether heading to Marbella or Malibu,” Visconti said.

However, according to Visconti, making bags is not just about good looks or design.

“Knowing the realities that consumers face when traveling, understanding the rules that impact travel, the surfaces and speeds people carry luggage through – being current on gadgets and protecting them with the right materials, pockets and features – a lot goes into creating the best bags.”

Visconti said Briggs & Riley addressed travel needs in a unique manner.

“Each customer is different and has different needs and expectations from their bag,” Visconti said. “Having experts means knowing that the investment in a big is based in practical terms, for the needs of the user, and the challenges they face in their own day to day and worldly adventures.”

Briggs & Riley’s philosophy is centered around its manifesto: engineered for reality. And this weekend, the city of Santa Monica has the opportunity to celebrate this idea and to learn what’s new with luggage by snacking and raising a glass with the experts of Briggs & Riley.

Briggs & Riley is located on level two at the Santa Monica Place. For more infomation, visit www.briggs-riley.com.
