Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle On Pacific Coast Highway In Malibu:

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Malibu and critically injured, authorities said today.

The pedestrian was struck on Pacific Coast Highway, just south of Malibu Canyon Road, around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, and airlifted to a hospital, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Matt Dunn said.

The driver of the vehicle was questioned at the scene, Dunn said.

It was not known if the victim was in a crosswalk at the time of being struck, Dunn said.
