A two-car crash in Benedict Canyon this morning injured seven people, four of them critically, a Los Angeles Fire Department official said.
The crash occurred at 2:19 a.m. at 1300 North Benedict Canyon Drive, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Four of the patients were critical, said Humphrey. Two suffered moderate injuries and one returned to the scene as paramedics tended to the others and was listed as having minor injuries.
Benedict Canyon Drive was closed in both directions at Beverly Estate Drive during the investigation and cleanup, he said.
