Santa Monica Double-Header Election Forum Tonight With SMMUSD, SMC Candidates:

Santa Monica voters will decide on the local races of City Council

The Santa Monica Mirror, in collaboration with the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, will host a double-header election forum tonight, Oct. 22 featuring all seven SMMUSD Board of Education candidates and all six SMC Board of Trustees candidates.

It will be held at the Santa Monica Main Library’s Martin Luther King Auditorium, which is located at 601 Santa Monica Boulevard from 5:30 pm to 8 pm (program begins 6 pm).

SMMUSD Board of Education candidates will take the stage from 6-6:50 pm followed by a 10 minute break. The SMC Board of Trustees candidates will take the stage from 7-7:50 pm.

The forum is free and open to the public; RSVPs are no longer required.

Santa Monica Mirror editor-in-chief Brenton Garen will moderate the evening.
