Cement Truck Overturns On 405 Freeway In Culver City, Spilling Its Load:

Firefighters used brooms and shovels to move the fast-drying load of cement from an overturned mixer from northbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway in Culver City early today.

The accident occurred at Culver Boulevard at 4:10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log.

A videographer at the scene said all but the slow lane of the freeway’s northbound lanes were closed as Culver City Fire Department firefighters pushed the cement to a K rail alongside the center emergency lane.
