Red Cross Launches Holiday Mail For Heroes In Santa Monica:

Red Cross held its Holiday Heroes Card signing at the Third Street Promenade on Sunday.

In celebration of Veteran’s Day, Red Cross’ annual Holiday Mail For Heroes military card signing event launched Sunday on the Third Street Promenade.

The next signing is set for Nov. 23 on the Promenade – the final chance to sign a card for military and vets.

The goal is to get 8,000 cards signed for service members during these two events.

Once signed, the Red Cross will deliver the cards to the West L.A. VA Center and the Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital for distribution.

Castle Press has donated 8,000 cards being used at Sunday’s and the Nov. 23 event.
