Century City Fatal Accident: Pedestrian Killed On Olympic Boulevard:

A pedestrian in his 80s was struck by a vehicle today in the Rancho Park area of Los Angeles just west of Century City and died at the scene, authorities said.

The fatal collision occurred about 6:45 a.m. at Olympic Boulevard and Patricia Avenue, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. Authorities withheld the man’s name pending notification of his relatives.

The motorist remained at the scene and was interviewed by police, who were investigating the circumstances of the death.
