A motorcyclist suffered leg injuries Saturday in a crash on Malibu Canyon Road in Malibu.
It was not immediately clear if the motorcyclist was involved in a crash with another motorist, or if it was a single-vehicle crash, according to a deputy at the sheriff’s Lost Hills station.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash on Malibu Canyon Road at Harbor Vista at 10:58 a.m., a county fire dispatcher said. That location is 3/4 mile north of Pacific Coast Highway, and the canyon road was blocked between Pepperdine University and the Hughes Research Center.
Graduation ceremonies were scheduled to begin at about the same time on the nearby lawn at Pepperdine.
The dispatcher said the motorcyclist suffered some leg injuries, and was helicoptered out.
