The Santa Monica Fire Department will officially recognize three employees of Trader Joe’s for their actions in attempting to save the life of a citizen who was discovered unresponsive in a parked vehicle at the Trader Joe’s store.
On April 20, 2015, Santa Monica Public Safety Dispatchers provided instructions over the phone to the three Trader Joe’s employees who began CPR until Paramedics arrived on scene.
The recognition ceremony will take place Wednesday at Fire Station 5, 2450 Ashland Ave., Santa Monica.
