Travelodge Santa Monica GM Recognized As ‘General Manager Of The Year”:

Moe Paknahal, general manager at The Travelodge at 3102 Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica, has been recognized as “General Manager of the Year” for the fourth time since he’s been the hotel’s General Manager. Paknahal has won top honors as “Manager of the Year” for the fourth time since 2004.

‘To be eligible for his award, Paknahal goes above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating key characteristics that include professionalism, leadership, creativity, and an overall dedication to guests, employees, and the community.

In addition to Paknahal’s achievement as “Manager of the Year,” the entire staff at Travelodge Santa Monica is celebrating their ninth consecutive “Perfect Score” on their annual quality assurance inspection by Wyndham Worldwide’s Travelodge brand. To earn their perfect score, every employee at the hotel makes guest satisfaction their top priority which includes all aspects of the hotel’s relationship with their guests. 

This includes maintaining top standards with regard to the quality of the guest’s visit; the cleanliness of the guest’s room and public spaces; the friendliness of the staff; and consistently high levels Robert Jackson, Managing Member of the Pico Bundy Hotel Co., LLC which has owned and operated the Travelodge on Pico Blvd for over 60 years, agreed and praised Mr. Paknahal’s ability to coordinate all the hotel’s employees, building an award winning team. 

“Over the past years, Moe and his team have won over twenty awards, including the Quality Standard Award for the nine years in a row for earning a perfect score on the Travelodge Brand field inspection. This achievement reflects not only Mr. Paknahal’s ability as a Manager, but the dedication and hard work every member of the staff displays every day. We are proud of our team at our Travelodge-Santa Monica.”

The Travelodge on Pico Blvd. is an 82 room hotel offering guests single, double, and mini suite accommodations. The property features the brand’s complimentary “Bear Bites” continental breakfast, a business center, and complimentary wireless high speed internet access.
