Pacific Palisades Homes Evacuated After Firearms, Ammo Found:

Latest police news and updates.

Homes in Pacific Palisades were evacuated Saturday afternoon after a cache of firearms and ammunition was found in a home where a person was found dead a day earlier.

The firearms and ammo were found about 12:20 p.m. by someone at the house in the 1700 block of Palisades Drive, Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section said.

Surrounding homes were evacuated and a bomb squad was called in to remove the items, Lopez said.

He had no information about the dead person, but ABC7 reported that it was possibly a case of suicide.
