Registration Opens For Fall 2015 Santa Monica YMCA Youth Basketball:

Registration has opened for the Fall 2015 youth basketball season at the Santa Monica YMCA.

Registration has opened for the Fall 2015 youth basketball season at the Santa Monica YMCA. Forms are available in the lobby of the Y at the corner of 6th St. and Santa Monica Blvd., online at ymcasm.org and will be available through the local schools after they re-open for the school year.

Player evaluations will run from Sept. 8-10, with every player signed up guaranteed of making a team in one of four co-ed, skill-based divisions that range in age from five years old to entering 8th grade. All team practices and games are held in the Y’s indoor gym.

Anyone interested in being a volunteer coach (18 years old or over) or paid game referee (age 16 and over only) should contact league director Peter Arbogast at 310.393.2721 ext. 137 for further information. 

This is the first of three youth basketball leagues at the Santa Monica YMCA during the school year, and runs from September through early December.
