No Fire Found In West L.A. High Rise After Reports Of Smoke:

Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from a 19-story high rise in the 12100 block of Wilshire Boulevard in West Los Angeles earlier this evening.

Firefighters found concrete cutting tools being used by workers on the 18th floor appear to have created a smoky condition, Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department says.

“12100 W Wilshire Bl* Units ascended all floors to roof and find no fire. Initial light smoke has dissipated and may have originated from concrete cutting operation on 18th floor = Smoke scare,” read a Tweet from @lafd.
