Santa Monica Police Department to Host Alcohol Service Training:

The Santa Monica Police Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) will offer a second Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training to help employees of clubs, bars, restaurants and liquor stores in Santa Monica sell and serve alcohol responsibly.

The training will be held Tuesday, April 5 at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium from 12pm-4pm and registration is available at the door.

U.S. Navy Sailor Miguel Valencia and his fiancée Genesis who were honored and surprised yesterday by City of Santa Monica with special wedding gifts. Councilman Bob Holbrook arranged for the Navy couple to a receive a Hartnell custom-designed wedding dress and honeymoon package as part of Navy Week Celebration. Hanna Hartnell honored Miguel and his fiancée at her studio on Sunday by donating a couture wedding gown for their ceremony and Downtown Santa Monica provided the surprise Honeymoon Package
