The 19th Annual Church in Ocean Park Communitas Awards Event will take place on September 9, 2017. This event honors members of the church and the larger communitywho embody and elevate the spirit of community. This year we are honoring four creative, compassionate and courageous people for their living lives of compassion and justice: Gina Frazier, Nana Gyamfi and Jim Lafferty. Each one of them has worked and continues to work for peace, justice and connection across cultures in our community and in a broader world.
