Phil Brock meets Tracy Edwards, MBE, skipper of Maiden, who led the first all-female crew to complete the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1989-1990. Phil is invited to sail aboard Maiden with its current crew, who are completing another trip around the world, this time to raise funds for girls’ education in countries where they don’t have that right or opportunity.
