Hawaii during Covid?

While traveling during COVID seems like a big hassle, its still something we all want to do. Recently, my family and I had the chance to go to Hawaii over this December and we had the pleasure of going through the “COVID Protocol” at the Hawaiian airport! Below I’ll tell you what to expect;

1., You must be fully vaccinated or have a Negative Test from within the last 72 hours. The best thing to do is take photo of BOTH Your Government ID and your Vaccine Card/Negative test (you will use it all the time while visiting, I’ll get more into this later).

2. Hawaii does ask that you register with the state you Vaccine information, which includes; Date of Vaccinations, Location and what type of Vaccine you received (i.e Moderna). You can find that info here; https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/

3. Traveling around the islands , with whatever you do and wherever you go, you must always present you ID and Vaccination Card/Negative Test. This becomes somewhat of a hassle as you jump between different locations so be sure to take the photo of them both together!

That is it! Quite simple and definitely worth it to go on to the sunny shores of Hawaii!
