Homicide Detectives Review Death of CSI Miami and ER Actress
Authorities are investigating the death of 58-year-old actress Cindyana Santangelo, whose body was discovered earlier this month in Malibu by homicide detectives, as a routine procedure, though no foul play is currently suspected. The first reports were unclear and didn’t state that the woman was found inside her $3.8 million mansion on Westlake Boulevard.
Santangelo is known for her appearances in popular television series such as Married… With Children, CSI: Miami and ER was found unresponsive at her multimillion-dollar residence on Westlake Boulevard. Emergency responders transported her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead on Monday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that homicide detectives are involved in the case and are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death. Investigators have not confirmed the circumstances leading up to Santangelo’s death, but reports suggest she may have undergone cosmetic injections inside her home prior to being found unresponsive. It remains unclear whether those procedures played any role in her passing.
Santangelo gained recognition in the 1990s for her recurring role as Sierra Madre, a dancer at the fictional Jiggly Room, on the Fox sitcom Married… With Children. She later appeared in guest roles on other network dramas, including CSI: Miami and ER.
