Los Angeles Magazine Postpones The FOOD Event 2025 Due to Incoming Storms

Severe Weather Forecasts Prompt Organizers to Delay the Annual Culinary Festival at Calamigos Ranch

Severe weather expected to hit Southern California this week has prompted Los Angeles Magazine to postpone its 19th Annual The FOOD Event, organizers announced Wednesday.

The popular culinary festival, originally set to take place this weekend at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, will be rescheduled due to forecasts of heavy rain and strong winds across the region.

“Given the potential duration and impact of the storm — and the fact that this is an outdoor event — our foremost priority is the safety and well-being of our chefs, restaurants, partners, guests, and staff,” the publication said in a statement.

Organizers said they are working to confirm a new date and will notify attendees as soon as details are finalized. The magazine thanked participants and supporters for their understanding and expressed optimism about returning soon to celebrate Los Angeles’ culinary scene “under sunnier skies.”
