Incumbent Traci Park, challengers Faizah Malik and Jeremy Wineberg to appear together March 1 at Venice church

Voters in Los Angeles Council District 11 will have a chance to hear directly from all three candidates in the Westside seat during a public forum next weekend, as the race to represent neighborhoods including Venice, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood and Westchester intensifies.

The council seat covers a diverse coastal and inland area that has seen ongoing debates over housing, public safety, homelessness and economic recovery. Park, who won the seat in a 2022 special election and was reelected in 2024, faces her first full-term challenge.

The Westside Regional Alliance of Councils (WRAC) will host the CD11 Candidate Forum on Sunday, March 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Venice First Lutheran Church. Incumbent Councilmember Traci Park is scheduled to appear alongside challengers Faizah Malik and Jeremy Wineberg.

The event is open to all CD11 constituents, with organizers encouraging carpooling, ride-sharing, biking or walking due to limited parking.

WRAC, an alliance of 14 neighborhood and community councils spanning Beverly Crest, Brentwood, Del Rey, Mar Vista, Pacific Palisades, Palms, South Robertson, West LA-Sawtelle, Westside, Venice, Westchester, Westside, and Westwood, is hosting the forum to provide voters an opportunity to compare the candidates’ positions on key issues facing the district.
