Venice Wins Second League Game:

After losing five consecutive non-league football games, Venice High has begun its Western League schedule with two wins.

The Gondoliers romped past University High, 38-0 on Friday, October 24.

In order to avoid playing on Halloween, Venice and Palisades will meet Thursday night, October 30. The game is set for Venice’s field at 7 p.m.

Santa Monica Girls Softball Team Wins Second Place:

The Santa Monica 8U Gold All-Star girls softball team took second place in the Jessica Mendoza All-Star Tournament in Camarillo last weekend.
The team is made up of girls ages six through eight, who have only been playing together as a team for a little over a month.
