Cleaning the Beach for Earth Day:

(1) Large crowds turned out at Santa Monica beach for Heal the Bay’s Earth Day “Nothing but the Sand” Beach Cleanup on Saturday, April 17 at Santa Monica pier. A group of kids from City Year Los Angeles participated in the clean up.

(2) The Helpful Teams were distributing reusable water bottles to volunteers who helped clean up Santa Monica Beach. More than 1000 volunteers turned out, and for each bottle distributed, the SoCal Honda Dealers made a donation on the recipient’s behalf and continued their helpful efforts in the community.
