St. Monica Sweeps Serra: Mariners Stay Undefeated in League

The St. Monica Mariners believe their No. 8 ranking is low, but they’re fine proving their legitimacy in the tournament in a couple weeks.

In the meantime, the Mariners destroyed the Serra Cavaliers three games to none on Wednesday, with each game being decided by double digits.

In limited action, seniors Tanner Peach and Chaz Moynagh still led the team. Peach threw down 13 kills and Moynagh added eight and nine ace serves. Moynagh made the Mariner lead unreachable with an incredible 10 straight service points in the third game.

St. Monica is still undefeated in their league and have clinched a league championship. They will play St. Paul on Monday, May 2, for their final home game of the season.
