More than 4,000 runners are expected to gather in Santa Monica for the seventh annual Santa Monica Classic this Sunday, May 20.
The event, which includes both 5K and 10K races, will continue the tradition of raising awareness for the environmental non-profit Heal the Bay.
Runners will race along the streets of Santa Monica on a point-to-point course that ends just steps away from the world-famous Santa Monica Pier.
Runners still have time to sign up for the Santa Monica Classic.
Registration and pre-race packet pick-up will be available on Saturday, May 19, at Sports Chalet on 11801 West Olympic Boulevard in West L.A. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or near the start line at 2600 Barnard Way in Santa Monica beginning at 6:30 a.m. on race day.
