Corsairs Volleyball Team Exits 2012 Season In Style: SMC Loses To Citrus College

The Santa Monica College (7-12) volleyball team lost their final match of the season against Citrus College(13-8) in three sets 25-18, 25-12, and 25-21 but not before celebrating the accomplishments of the sophomore squad of Corsairs in a ceremony with roses at home Friday night.

Graduating sophomores were presented roses by the freshmen Corsairs.

Graduating sophomores included liberos Shay Hassenfratz and Jane Siri, middle blocker Ilyn Butac, outside hitter Angie Rinaldi, and opposite hitters Janeth Ramos and Lani Mikaele.

The Corsairs conclude their play for the Fall 2012 season with the final game against Citrus College.
