Vets To Help Homeless Pets On Veteran’s Day:

Veterans interested in helping homeless pets will receive orientation at the NKLA Pet Adoption Center in West Los Angeles on Veteran’s Day.

This program partners with the Veteran’s Administration and Animal Therapists Assisting in Living (Animal T.A.I.L.) to offer veterans the opportunity to interact with adoptable dogs and cats by going for walks, helping to clean kennels and cages, and most importantly, providing the love and attention necessary to help these animals transition into loving homes. It’s a win-win for vets and homeless pets!

The event takes place this Monday, Nov. 11 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Orientation starts at 11 am. Hands on volunteering will start later on in the day, approximately 1 pm.

The NKLA Pet Adoption Center is located at1845 Pontius Drive, Los Angeles.
