Traffic on the 405 Freeway came to a standstill Wednesday morning after a fatal accident in the northbound lanes just north of Getty Center Drive at 3:45 am.
A SigAlert was declared and all northbound lanes were closed; all lanes were cleared and reopened just before 8:30 am.
According to reports, the victim Denise Fallon Naccarato was on her motorcycle when she rear-ended a Ford Ranger pickup truck.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
