The NKLA Pet Adoption Center has adoptable dogs and cats from featured NKLA Coalition partners, including Sunshine and JR.
Adoption specials daily including waived adoption fees! All pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
All adoptions include a personalized pet I.D. tag, a bag of food, and one month of pet insurance. NKLA is located in West L.A. at 1845 Pontius Ave 90025. It is open daily from 12-8 pm.

SUNSHINE: We invite you to meet Sunshine, our resident big boy who is ready to light up your life! He’s confident, curious and easy-going. He even loves to go for strolls outside with volunteers in one of our cat carriages! Do you have a sunny spot and a place in your heart for Sunshine? Sunshine’s adoption fee is sponsored by a generous supporter which means he is free to adopt.
JR: JR has a big fan club at the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! Volunteer Tracey shares “This guy makes every day brighter. He’s the most incredible dog I’ve ever met.” JR will give you the best of all worlds; he’d love to be out around town with you showing off his leash manners, and when it’s time to go home he’ll gladly curl up next to you for belly rubs. JR hopes that you will be the loyal companion he’s been looking for, and he’ll be your best friend, too!
