Charles Schwab Opens Doors To New Branch In Santa Monica:

Charles Schwab, one of the largest full-service investment services firms in the country, has recently opened the doors to a new branch in Santa Monica to offer residents in the Los Angeles area access to a range of investing and personal finance guidance, services and products.

Located at 826 Wilshire Blvd., the Santa Monica branch contains approximately 5,000 square feet, seven private offices and a seminar room. The branch offers a wide range of educational investing workshops, which are complimentary and open to Schwab clients as well as the general public.

The branch is managed by Doug Wilson, a Westwood resident who has been with Schwab for five years. The branch employs six financial consultants and service specialists. Schwab has almost 20 branches in the greater Los Angeles area with about 90 total financial consultants.

“Schwab is available to clients around the clock on the phone, web and through mobile devices, but we know people still value a face-to-face conversation when it comes to investing and especially for in-depth conversations about planning,” said Wilson. “Our new branch in Santa Monica further expands on our commitment to provide clients with convenient local access to everything Schwab has to offer including planning, portfolio management and income strategies, as well as banking services from Charles Schwab Bank.”

Wilson also manages Schwab’s Century City branch located at 1900 Avenue of the Stars. To find one of Schwab’s branches in the Los Angeles area or more than 300 branches across the country, visit Schwab’s branch locator.

Wilson expects to hold a variety of educational investing workshops in the Santa Monica branch, which are complimentary and open to Schwab clients as well as the general public.
