St. John’s Hospital 2016 Annual Public Meeting, Tuesday, June 28:

This Tuesday, June 28, at the Annual Community Outreach Meeting, we as community members will have one hour to hear a presentation and ask questions specifically related to the current Development Agreement. As mentioned below, St. John’s representatives will not answer questions about plans for the second phase of development. This meeting will include information regarding St. John’s community benefits, which are part of their development agreement. According to the DRAFT report, these community benefits translate to over $40 million exclusive of unreimbursed Medicare costs. From the DRAFT 2015 Community Benefits Report: Economic Value of Community Benefit Provided During calendar year 2015, the economic value of community benefit provided by Providence Saint John’s Health Center is estimated at $44,386,407 and an additional $33,278,525 in unreimbursed Medicare costs.
