Franklin Elementary School will hold its annual Multicultural Fair Friday, February 24, in the cafeteria and multipurpose room from 5 to 7 p.m. Although the scale of the fair will be smaller, more students will perform. Class cultural exhibits will be on view during the day all week, as well as on Friday evening during the fair.Like the student performances and the Fair’s potluck supper, the exhibits reflect the diverse cultural heritage of Santa Monica, demonstrating both the differences and similarities of the various cultures. Franklin principal Patricia Samarge created the multi-cultural event and as she is retiring this year, this will be her fourth and last Fair. Franklin School is located at 2400 Montana Avenue.
