There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the most recent drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Friday’s drawing will grow to $20 million.
One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold in Indiana and Virginia. They are each worth $1 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced Wednesday.
The numbers drawn Tuesday were 5, 14, 42, 43, 58 and the Mega number was 1. The estimated jackpot was $15 million.
The drawing was the first since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.
