The annual SMC 4th of July celebration for the whole family is on Saturday, July 1. Gates open at 5pm, entertainment is at 6pm and fireworks are at dusk. Bring your own food or buy food there – alcohol, glass and barbeques are not allowed. SMC, Corsair Field, 16th St. and Pico Blvd., free, $5 for parking, donations gladly accepted, 310.434.3000.
