Santa Monica College’s Celebrate America Saturday

This Saturday, June 30, Santa Monica College (SMC) is hosting their annual Celebrate America event at Corsair Field.

According to the college, “SMC’s Independence Day Celebration — the biggest, most sensational patriotic community event on the Westside!”

Bring your family and friends to SMC for a star-spangled salute to our nation’s independence.

Come early, picnic on the lawn, enjoy continuous entertainment and special exhibits (with plenty of refreshments available for purchase), and cap off the evening with a spectacular fireworks salute to America.

Event Schedule

4 p.m. – Parking Lots Open

5 p.m. – Gates Open to Corsair Field and Stadium Bleachers

6​ p.m. – Entertainment starts on Corsair Field Stage

8:15 p.m. – Parking Lots Close

8:45 p.m. – Entry Gates Close

9 p.m. – Fireworks By Pyro Spectaculars Entertainment

Food Drive

Sponsored by the Associated Students of SMC in partnership With Westside Food Bank to assist students in need. Please bring non-perishable items. Multiple drop-off locations!

Parking & Prohibited Items

Parking: $5 Enter at Pico Blvd. and 17th Street

Prohibited: Animals, Alcohol & Chairs with Pointed Legs
