Venice Routs Uni; Palisades Loses:

Venice High routed University, 55-24, on Friday, November 3, to remain undefeated in the Western League with a 4-0 record. The Gondoliers are 7-2 overall.

Venice quarterback Richard Ragland is the league leader in passing with 1,617 yards. Gondolier running back Curtis McNeal is the leader in rushing yardage with 1,498.

In another Western League game, Palisades lost to Westchester, 27-21, when the Comets scored a touchdown on the final play of the game on a 22-yard pass by quarterback Isaiah Barton.

Hamilton is in second place with a 3-1 league record. Palisades and University are both 2-2.
